About Achieve North West Connect:

Achieve North West Connect (ANWC) is delivering Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) CFO ‘Services to improve the employability of disadvantaged ex-offenders in the North West’. Funding is provided jointly through HMPPS and the European Social Fund (ESF).

Delivery of the service is focused around the HMPPS case management model; offenders are assigned a Case Manager who works with them throughout their journey to employment, working in parallel with offender managers/responsible officers who manage their offending behaviour. ANWC in the North West is highly successful and delivers an excellent service to offenders. We currently employ Case Managers who work across the district in both community and custodial settings.

The role:

The role of the case manager is to engage and work with eligible offenders, providing a case management approach to the delivery of Employment Training and Education (ETE) interventions. The case manager will deliver bespoke interventions to offenders on a one to one and group basis. This will include the delivery and assesment of accredited courses and employability related training. The role will require liasion and referal to external agencies who can further support the offenders. The case manager will complete comprehensive records on a Case Tracking and Assessment System.

Those wishing to apply must have evidence of secondary level education including GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
