Do you want to make a difference? Do you want to contribute towards a highly successful ESF programme? Join our expanding team.

Achieve North West Connect (ANWC) is delivering Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) CFO’s ‘Supporting social inclusion through improving the employability prospects of offenders’ project. Funding is provided jointly through HMPPS and the European Social Fund (ESF).

Delivery of the service is focused around the case management model: participants are assigned a case manager who works with them throughout their journey to employment, working in parallel with offender managers who manage their offending behaviour. The project is voluntary but it targets ‘hard to reach’ offenders who require additional support to get them ready for work.

ANWC is highly successful and delivers an excellent service to offenders. We currently employ over 40 case managers across the North West who work in both community and custodial settings.

The role of the case manager is to engage and work with eligible individuals, providing a case management approach to the delivery of learning, training and employment opportunities. The case manager will deliver bespoke interventions to participants on a one-to-one and group basis.  This will include the delivery and assessment of accredited courses and employability related training.  The role will require liaison and referral to external agencies/partners who can further support the participants and then progress them into employment opportunities.  The case manager will be required to record their work accurately on our internal recording database.
