Career Connect is a large vibrant and innovative Charity delivering advice and guidance
services across the Northwest.

Originally established as Greater Merseyside Connexions in 2001 and later became a Charity
(April 2011) forming as Career Connect.

Since our formation as a Charity in April 2011, the Charity has gone from strength to strength.
With a workforce of 400+ employees and a passion for helping others realise their potential,
we help adults and young people make informed choices to succeed in work, education and

We have successfully delivered a wide range of contracts and have expanded our reach well
beyond the Liverpool City Region, with significant delivery across Manchester and the North

We have a strong relationship with 200+ schools as their chosen IAG specialist and deliver the
National Careers Service providing universal careers guidance to adults across the Liverpool
City Region, Cheshire & Warrington and Lancashire, in community venues such as job centres
and in prisons, supporting offenders.

Achieve North West Connect are a wholly owned subsidiary of Career Connect and specialise
in targeted support for offenders in custody and community (including ‘through the gate’)
helping people to overcome barriers and make positive changes/ achieve goals.

We also cover several local authority areas, delivering NEET services and have a significant
social investment programme - Unlocking Potential, who work with vulnerable young people
aged 14-17 (up to 25 for young people with SEND) that are NEET/at risk of becoming NEET.

Coach - Manchester

Are you looking to make a difference to young people’s lives in Manchester, helping them to move on in education and work?

We are seeking to recruit a Coach to join our Manchester Connect team delivering support services across the Greater Manchester area.

The role of Coach is to provide impartial information, advice and guidance with the aim of broadening career horizons, supporting the personal development needs of individuals enabling them to make effective decisions and take positive action.

Our team of friendly Coaches work with individuals who are in education, training, employment or unemployment.

Multi agency work is a must and the ability to impartially support those with complex barriers whilst coaching and mentoring towards a positive outcome that will encourage sustained employment education or training. We will provide training and support to help you settle into the new role. The successful candidate must be able to work individually or part of a broader team where innovation and thinking outside the box is part of everyday working.

Our working week is 35 hours and staff at Career Connect enjoy the benefits of working flexi-time! Candidates must be Level 3 qualified.
