Career Connect is a large vibrant and innovative Charity delivering advice and guidance
services across the Northwest.

Originally established as Greater Merseyside Connexions in 2001 and later became a Charity
(April 2011) forming as Career Connect.

Since our formation as a Charity in April 2011, the Charity has gone from strength to strength.
With a workforce of 400+ employees and a passion for helping others realise their potential,
we help adults and young people make informed choices to succeed in work, education and
training.

We have successfully delivered a wide range of contracts and have expanded our reach well
beyond the Liverpool City Region, with significant delivery across Manchester and the North
West.

We have a strong relationship with 200+ schools as their chosen IAG specialist and deliver the
National Careers Service providing universal careers guidance to adults across the Liverpool
City Region, Cheshire & Warrington and Lancashire, in community venues such as job centres
and in prisons, supporting offenders.

Achieve North West Connect are a wholly owned subsidiary of Career Connect and specialise
in targeted support for offenders in custody and community (including ‘through the gate’)
helping people to overcome barriers and make positive changes/ achieve goals.

We also cover several local authority areas, delivering NEET services and have a significant
social investment programme - Unlocking Potential, who work with vulnerable young people
aged 14-17 (up to 25 for young people with SEND) that are NEET/at risk of becoming NEET.

independent.

Business Unit Systems Co-ordinator, Business Unit, Head Office Liverpool

Permanent - Salary payable up to £21,082 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Achieve Northwest Connect Business unit team as a Systems Coordinator.

The purpose of the role is to support the Business Unit with all aspects of quality assurance, compliance monitoring, finance and administration to contribute towards an efficient and quality service.

Those wishing to apply must be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics (at Grade “C” or above).

About Achieve North West Connect:

Achieve North West Connect (ANWC) is delivering NOMS CFO’s ‘Services to improve the employability of disadvantaged ex-offenders in the North West’. Funding is provided jointly through HMPPS CFO and the European Social Fund (ESF).

Delivery of the service is focused around the CFO case management model; offenders are assigned a Case Manager who works with them throughout their journey to employment, working in parallel with offender managers/responsible officers who manage their offending behaviour. The project is voluntary but it targets ‘hard to reach’ offenders who require additional support to get them ready for work.

ANWC in the North West is highly successful and delivers an excellent service to offenders. We currently employ Case Managers who work across the district in both community and custodial settings.
