We are seeking to recruit a new Trustee to join our Board and to take on the role of Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee to strengthen our charity’s governance and take forward its valuable work of transforming the futures of young people and adults.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a robust commercial background and extensive financial experience, which is both recent and relevant and at a senior level to join our charity.

Appointment of Chair of Audit and Risk Committee/Trustee: The position of Audit and Risk Chair will be of interest to those who are looking to use their executive experience and skills to support our mission of helping young people and adults secure skills and sustainable employment, or to those who have recently retired who wish to share their expertise and knowledge.

You do not need to have previously been a trustee or non-executive director, although such experience would be valuable. You must be able to interpret complex financial data, to analyse financial statements and to demonstrate a high level of understanding and application of financial and risk management disciplines. NB. Career Connect pay an honorarium of up to £3K depending on experience.
